Saint-Gobain Glass is... Class
Updated: Sep 24
This stunning property is known as 'The Upside Down House' and for good reason as the open-plan main living areas are located on the first floor. The elevated views from these rooms really accentuate the sense of space.
Hannah & Phil had a dream to leave their congested flat in London behind and build their own bespoke family home in the countryside.
They managed to find the perfect plot to build their dream home in Furness Vale, High Peak, Derbyshire not far from where Hannah grew up in Mellor near Marple... it's amazing how often we flock back to where we grew up!
By taking inspiration from a historic National Trust property known as 'The Homewood' and calling on the help of a brilliant architect (Hannah's father) they made that dream a reality by 2020.
Saint-Gobain supplied all of the high-tech windows for the build. With Saint-Gobain needing to produce another case study for their website they found me online after searching for a local property photographer located in High Peak, near Manchester.
My job was simple, try to make the property look as good as possible through photos, but really I think the house gave me a helping hand, she's very photogenic!
Review - This Project
"Beautiful photographs, like something you would expect to see in a magazine spread. Highly recommended."
